one day: two shows [07 Oct 2005|02:57am] [ mood | cold ] [ music | Rodinia ] Next Saturday October 15th we will be playing two shows: First @ The Emporium in Elk River for Cannary Rose and Bring Back Tomorrow's double CD release show. We are playing around 6:30pm after that.. we head off to The Garage in Burnsville for a Hurricane Benefit Show, we play around 9pm. The recording adventure starts November 2nd as we head down to Atlanta and arrive back home on the 8th with some new jams. We will be playing one more show in October before we leave. We have been on the road for about 48 days, which included a week on the Vans Warped Tour. An amazing time was had by all of us. The tour was topped off with our homecoming show this past friday night at The Quest. The show was amazing and thank you so much to everyone who made it out to the show. It was good to see you all. Wednesday, August 31st we will once again be at The Quest, but this time on the main stage with our friends in The Semester. This will be one show you won't want to miss and we're looking forward to it. In the coming months we will be preparing to hit the studio with producer Matt Goldman (Copeland, Underoath, As Cities Burn) to record 2 brand new songs. Stay tuned for that. guess who! [10 Jul 2005|09:32pm] [ mood | cold ] Hello everyone!! We just arrived home safely from our west coast tour this morning. The tour went amazingly well and we had so much fun. We will be home for 2 weeks here to catch up on things and we will be playing a show as well for all you locals. Saturday July 16th @ The Emporium in Elk River w/ Bring Back Tomorrow, Cannary Rose, Faully, and Motion Picture Demise (from Virginia) If you can make it, please come out. We would love to see you. We will be playing and hanging out at Warped Tour on July 24th and then the next day we leave for our East Coast Tour. We will be gone for about a month hitting pretty much everywhere so please check our myspace for dates and info. More will be announced soon. August 19th will be our homecoming show @ The Quest in Minneapolis with some very special friends of ours-- Sophomore (from St. Louis and played the Taste of Chaos Tour) Enkido (from Des Moines, Iowa) Benson Wells (the best local band you have never heard of) + 1 TBA We need a lot of help promoting for this show while we are on the road. Y'all got cripple? [25 Jun 2005|07:21pm] What doods, it's been a while... Here's an overview of tour: Parker, CO. Nick's basement was fucking tight. Kid's here were tight. It was the best show of tour thus far. We stayed at Nick's house that night, woke up and his mom made us a feast. God Bless that kid. We found the Kaeskiba of Colorado. Colorado Springs...the show was cancelled. So John got his face pierced. Logan, Utah... everyone at the show was married. Must be a Utah thing. Boise, Idaho, pretty sure Skaff found his true love in this city... only one problem...She's married (MILF) Reno, NV Modesto, CA. First time in Cali. We hit up the mall... Pretty sure Skaff found his other true love. Lil girl in a white skirt. This state is amazing. Just one problem, Hot Topic is all fucked up. Instead of the store being black and red and looking like Hell... The one in Modesto was Green and grey like a sewer. Weird shit. What happened to Hot Topic being like Hell? Day off spent in San Fran. Skaff found another true love... Skaff "So like, what are you doing tonight?" True Love "Um... I have to go over to my ex's to drop off his baptism pictures..." Skaff "Baptism?" :/ True Love "Yeah, we're christian" Skaff "huh..." San Jose, we go to the mall to hand out flyers for the show and get kicked out. The show that night was amazing. calling all cars [16 Jun 2005|07:47pm] [ mood | happy ] [ music | x's and i's ] so yesterday we played in omaha nebraska with The Semester and Tragedy Letters. we pull into the venue and find none other than ray ringer and pukes laying on top of their van sun tanning. can't get much better than that. it was awesome to see those guys again and wont see them again until the end of august. we found a place to sleep last night which was awesome. one of the guys in haven 21 hooked us up. we watched hitch, ate ramen and played star wars. we had to take off at 7am for denver, colorado which is where I am right now and were totally in MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE. connor slept almost the entire way, i sat online, kevin played zelda and karl had his shirt off and waltar drove . it took about 8 hours to get here. were playing this kids basement soon and so far its going awesome. there are a ton of kids here and they are all really rad to us. gotta go though a band is about to play and then were up. here are some pics for you all. <3 brian (for you kippley) 13   try goodbye

Breakfast anyone? [15 Jun 2005|11:39am] What up kids....we are now two days into our tour. Chillin in Iowa. Tonight we head to Nebraska. So we couldn't find a place to stay last night, so we decided to roll into a holiday inn parking lot and sleep in the van... All is going well, until Connor and John coming busting in the van at 7 in the morning, start the car and dip out. They had gone in and hit up the breakfast at the hotel...as they are eating a lady comes and hands them a check... Hahaha, so they dipped... Whatever happened to a free continental breakfast?
